Renfree Cruises To Big Win In DI-Large Final By Doug Binder, DyeStat Editor Jake Renfree of Knoxville Catholic, the fifth-place finisher in last year's Foot Locker finals, won his second straight Tennessee TSSAA Division 1 Large title Saturday by running 15:25.6 at Percy Warner Park. Renfree was fourth in the race in 2017 and ran 34 seconds faster this time. Siegel won its second straight team title with 73 points. On the girls side, leaders Sasha Neglia and Jenna Hutchins accidentally cut the course and ran inside a tree with less than half a mile left in the race. Neglia crossed the line first but was disqualified. Hutchins, a freshman, turned around and corrected the mistake and ran 17:37 for the victory. Knoxville West won a very competitive girls team race with 130 points. In the D1 Small School classification, the University School boys and Signal Mountain girls won team titles.
